Life is a Queer Cabaret: an evening of musical theatre and queer joy

  • Dorothy 2500 West Chicago Avenue Chicago, IL, 60622 United States (map)

What does it mean for Cabaret's Emcee to be played by a woman? For Jack Kelly to be queer? For Audrey or Seymour to be played by trans actors? Identities hold significance and power, and with a backlog of many cis, often straight or straight-assumed characters, there is value in exploring and changing the narrative.

Whether it be for a nuanced dramatic effect or a comedic one, we are here to explore musical theater gender-fuckery (and beyond)! Join us for an evening of musical theatre and queer joy!
