Enby Night: a night for trans & non-binary community + curiosity

  • Dorothy 2500 West Chicago Avenue Chicago, IL, 60622 United States (map)

Dorothy's Enby Night returns April 17th - a free gathering of community with non-binary and trans folks to the front! Allies welcome.

From 6-11pm we'll be holding Enby Night, hosted by our bartender Lou!

Dorothy invites all Trans and folks curious about gender expansive identity to join us for a night of kinship and celebration of self. Whether you are established in your Trans identity or simply curious and looking to explore what being Trans means to you, come to Dorothy to find your community.

This month we're holding a homemade craft swap! Bring your creations to share with others. Folks are asked to bring limited items to swap due to space.

ABOUT THE EVENT FROM LOU:

"Since July 2022, I’ve had the privilege of being your neighborhood queer bartender. I am honored to now be your host for Enby Night! The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space for our trans and non-binary friends to mingle, drink, be merry, and grow our beautiful community. As we know, lesbian bars are few and far between, thus making queer spaces even more challenging to find and enjoy. Dorothy takes pride in being apart of the collective effort in developing more businesses that ensure safety and inclusion for everyone."

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, wait by the double doors on Campbell Ave and call 773-770-3799 and our staff will assist.
