Dear Diary is an open mic event created and hosted by Soso where participants are invited to share personal journal entries and stories. The event encourages embracing the awkward or “cringe” moments of our past to foster connection through shared experiences. Dear Diary creates a space for people to realize that despite our unique journeys, we’re not all that different from one another.
Dear Diary will feature three readers and then invite folks to share their own diary entries on the mic. Show up early for open mic sign ups!
Doors at 6pm with happy hour until 7pm when our event kicks off! Dorothy is open after the event until 8:30pm.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door on Campbell Ave with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799
Please note: refund requests are only accepted until 24h before the show (11/16, 7pm). No other refund requests will be honored.
