Trikone Chicago presents: AAWAZ! A South Asian Queer Open Mic Night.
Aawaz is a vibrant South Asian Open Mic that amplifies the voices and creativity of South Asian artists. It’s a space where performers are free to express the full spectrum of human emotion—love, rage, joy, heartbreak, resistance, and more—through powerful, personal, and artistic mediums.
Whether it’s drag, stand-up comedy, music, dance, poetry, drama, or any other form of expression, Aawaz celebrates the richness of South Asian identity and storytelling in all its forms. This is your stage. This is your sound. This is Aawaz.
Join us for a varied performance of curated artists followed by an opportunity for audience members to participate in an open mic environment.
